We have no salaries for any staff or participants within our organization. Every donation is spent entirely on the care and comfort of horses. This has been our policy since our inception in 2003. We are dedicated to giving every horse in our care the life that all horses deserve, whether they are adoptable, or clearly not adoptable. Many times our rescue has become the last home for these horses because they are unwanted by most, but never unwanted at Heart's Desire. We take in the number of horses we can support at the time.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
Monetary donations are always great, but so are helping hands. Strong men, are often in short supply, and some tasks really demand that kind of support. Strong women are never turned down either. We have projects around the barn that take a coalition of willing supporters at times and that is as needed as the donations.
Bottom line, there are many ways to help.
